Pacca Studio
Privacy and cookies
How we handle data on paccastudio.com and in the games hosted here. In short: no cookies, no analytics, no advertising.
Who is the controller
Pacca Studio is the label under which Antonio Morlino (MeriPac) publishes games and apps; it is not a company. The data controller is Antonio Morlino, whom you can write to at info@antoniomorlino.com.
Cookies
The site and the games hosted here use no cookies: no technical ones, no analytics, no profiling. That is why there is no banner to accept.
We load nothing from other sites: fonts, images and scripts are on our own server, so visiting paccastudio.com your browser contacts no third-party service.
What stays in your browser
If you change language in UMBRA or on the Neon Shooter page, the browser remembers the choice (localStorage) for next time. It stays on your device, it is not sent to us and you can delete it from the browser settings. It only serves to give you the language you asked for, so it needs no consent.
Server logs
Like every website, the server hosting paccastudio.com (Netsons S.r.l., Italy, EU) logs the requests it receives: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser. They keep the service running and protected (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), we do not use them to profile you and they are kept for the time set by the hosting provider.
Neon Shooter online
To play online, Neon Shooter puts players in touch through the paccastudio.com lobby. When you open or join a match the lobby receives the name you play with, the game mode and the network data needed for the direct connection between the two computers, IP addresses included. If the match is public, the name of whoever opens it appears in the list other players see.
The match disappears from the server shortly after nobody uses it, two minutes at most; the IP address of whoever opens a match is kept for ten minutes, only to stop anyone from opening too many. During the match the two computers talk directly: as in every online game without a server in between, each player can see the other's IP address.
Legal basis: the service you ask for when you play online (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and protecting the lobby from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Culprit
Culprit, Culprit Arcade and The World of Culprit live on culprit.day and have their own policy: culprit.day/privacy.
